« Pascale Montandon-Jodorowsky (lives in Paris)
Visual artist and designer, Pascale Montandon-Jodorowsky works on time and space, the transient and fleeting, and the connections between fragility and permanence. Her concern with space, movement, as well as the idea of something that can simultaneously vanish and emerge, is ever present throughout both her visual and scenographic research. Over several years, she has been collaborating with filmmaker and writer Alejandro Jodorowsky in the creation of a shared graphic oeuvre regularly exhibited, as well as numerous other artistic projects, such as live performances and costume design for film. She has also created set designs and costumes for choreographer and dancer Carolyn Carlson and notably designed the reception area of the Imerys company headquarters in Paris. She is always working on new forms of creation, seamlessly crossing between the realms of the visual arts, set design and costume design, fusing variant modes of expression that intersect and interact through her work.
